Catholic Deices pays up $660 million to 500 cases of molestation.
I bet Michel Jackson pays better.

Maybe they should rethink that celibacy rule. And I just don't understand why theyd don't buy a box of condoms and good hooker. Be a lot cheaper.

I wonder if the people who donate money to the Catholic church think they're buying there way to heaven.

Wake up churches are non-profit corporations. They can pay their janitor any amount of money they want.

God's Creation

(Or should I say God’s experiment)

Some people run their mouths off telling other that the end of the world is coming. Saying Jesus is coming to save us. I for one don’t believe that for one minute. However I do believe Jesus will be there for all of us when we die, but I don’t think he wants anything to do with the end of the world. He loves us all because we are God’s creation and I feel Jesus isn’t into seeing the end of it. I think the whole end of the world bit is just a scare tactic.

Although I’ve gained much knowledge and wisdom from studying the Bible, I take it for what it is. It’s a handed down re-written history book. Written in many languages and interpreted in many different ways. I feel the essence of it is of utmost significance, but I feel some people put too much emphasis on certain parts of it.

I remember when I was a kid and others in my pier group would make comments on the last chapter of the Bible called "Revelations." It's the part which predicts how the end of the world comes about and it portrays the time when Jesus is suppose to come back to save the good people. There are a couple things about the chapter of Revelations that has me questioning the creditability of it because it is inconsistent with the first chapter titled, Genesis.

In Genesis, it says God made us in the likeness of himself. Then in Revelations, it says he has fire in his eyes and a sword in his mouth. The description doesn't sound like any human like-ness to me. The impression I get from the Revelations chapter is that it could be a mighty fine way for churches to scare people into thinking they may want to think about trying to buy their way into heaven by donating their acquired wealth to their favorite church congregation.

Some feel they should propitiate because they fell they've been blessed by God and must give back in return. Some followers offer tithe expecting a possible blessing in return. Where they get the ten percent bit, I’ll never know. I just don’t understand how people are supposed to justify it.

I think the thing people should remember when giving up their hard earn cash over to their church, they should remember that the church is a non-profit corporation. Non-profit corporations can pay their officers and employees any amount of money they want. However, I do feel it’s a good thing to help keep the lights on in houses of worship, but the question we should ask ourselves is, "Am we paying for some other guy’s retirement?" What I'm trying to say is that you shouldn’t over extend your funds in that one direction. I think God would also like to see us help out others in need. I’m sure he wants us to get along, help each other, and love one another.

I feel we need all the people in the world and we are all here for a purpose. We are all blessed with special talents in one area or another and we need all these blessings for the survival of the human race. God has given us everything we need to make this world go around, but if we don’t keep care of ourselves, the computer will end up being smarter than us and we the people of the human race could become extinct.

Update Feb.'07: The funny thing is, in search of my own understanding of what spirituality is all about I actually bought and read a book by psychic Sylvia Brown. On the Other Side.

But now I see she has buddied up with the Montel Williams Show. The other day I heard her mention that this planet will no longer be useful or I guess uninhabital for human beings in 95 years. So what I gather she's trying to say is that the end of the word is coming and either your children or grand children will see it happen. Like this must be generation "Y" and there isn't going to be another generation after Z.

Well that put a hult on my desire to ever contact her to find out if my life well ever amount to more than a man trapped in a box, while trying to save the smart guys. I want to feel optimistic that their will be a generation to live in the 22nd century.

But I guess Sylvia has written us off. she's playing the cards that people will pay to play and we're a bunch of fools for not taking matters into our own hand.

One thing I'd like to mention, is about magicians. the one's who make planes and other big things disappear. You'll never see it live. it's all trickery with the use of television camera. As with many psychics, they just plant their own people in the audeance.

Heck I just listened to a conversation the other day where a guy said he can't wait until I croke. Because he's been lead to believe my truck will be on the market within a year after I die. I'm pretty sure the guy who said that doesn't ever read much and if he did, he sure didn't get it. Whetherit's me or my truck, it doesn't really matter much when you are breeding stupid people. Here I say, "Let's save the smart guys, and stop breeding stupid people. But this guy just doesn't get it, he says he can't wait for another smart guy to be dead. I guess it doesn't matter as long as you don't mind living amongst a bunch of babbling idiots.
